Let the Cooking Begin! :-)

I have so many fun memories of cooking for Thanksgiving with my Mom. When we had big family gatherings we would cook for 2 or 3 days to get everything ready on time. So when I sat down to plan how I was going to get all of our food ready by noon on Thursday and I realized that I would need to do a little bit of cooking each day, I was excited to be able to start making fun memories with my boys. πŸ™‚

We got the cornbread (for the stuffing) in the oven first thing this morning. Drew measured out the ingredients (with some help :-)) and Carter stirred it all up for us.

Carter had fun trying to mix the green beans and the marinade up by shaking the bag. πŸ™‚

Once the cornbread was cooked and cooled, we mixed up the stuffing (minus the broth and eggs which I will add Thursday morning before cooking it).

So two dishes (Sausage Corn Bread DressingΒ and Baked Garlic Green Beans)down…a lot left to make. πŸ™‚
