Parks, Weddings and Coloring Pages

Drew loves playing at the park. So when a friend invited us to join her and her children at the park last Friday, I counted it as our family Thanksgiving activity for the day. Drew had so much fun. He was sad when we had to leave and wants to go back at the earliest opportunity. 🙂

Saturday was a friend’s wedding. My mom and I tried to explain to Drew what it means to be married, but I don’t think he quite got it. 🙂 However, it was a fun day to celebrate the gift of marriage. And Drew and Carter had a blast with the coloring activity provided for little ones. (A great idea, by the way, to keep children occupied during a wedding reception! :-))

Sunday I found a turkey color by number sheet. Drew enjoys counting things, but doesn’t recognize most of the numbers. So it was a fun and educational activity. 🙂

Monday we spent the entire day hanging out with my family. 🙂

It’s hard to believe that there are only two  more evenings of Thanksgiving activities before THANKSGIVING DAY! 🙂
