Freezer Cooking…Conquered

Well, Mom and I had a great deal of success with our freezer cooking day. We ended up with 20 meals, 15+ cups of rice (most of which will probably be served with the main dishes we cooked), 40+ burritos, and some chicken stock (made with the carcasses of the poultry we cooked.) So all in all, it was a productive day.

We ended up with:

  • 1 recipe of Chicken Firecrackers
  • Italian Meatloaf
  • 3 different dump chicken recipes
  • Cheeseburger Meatloaf
  • 2 batches of Taco Meat
  • 2 batches of Beef and Broccoli
  • Mom’s creation Meatloaf (Mom just added whatever she felt like to the ground beef.)
  • Turkey Rosemary Meatloaf
  • 2 batches of Chicken and Dressing
  • 1 batch of Steak Fajitas
  • 3 batches of Sloppy Joes
  • Cheesy Bacon Chicken Broccoli Casserole
  • Burritos (We didn’t really follow the recipes I linked to in the previous post…by the time we got around to the burritos, I was rather tired of following recipes so we just used the recipes as a general outline and made up the rest.)

Our freezer is once again well stocked with meals for the next month or so.
