This is the first time Carrie and I had shrimp scampi…it’s a good thing our cookbook had a shrimp scampi recipe otherwise we probably still wouldn’t have tasted it! Shrimp scampi is very good. I did add too many bread crumbs so that sauce wasn’t all that saucy…but the dish was still really good. This is definitely one we want to try making again.
We’d like to try a couple of slight changes the next time we make this. The lemon flavor was rather strong, so we’ll cut back a little on that. We both thought it would have tasted better if the sauce was just slightly creamy…so perhaps a little bit of milk, cream cheese or cream. 🙂
