Attitude of Gratitude: Drew

Drew is one big bundle of joy. đŸ™‚ He has an amazingly infectious laugh and his blue eyes sparkle with fun. He gives some of the best hugs in the world!

He has grown up so much in the past few months. Even though his repertoire of words is still rather small, his understanding of what others say to him is amazing. He loves to help other people. He closes things, throws things away, wipes Carter’s mouth, covers Carter with a blanket, picks things up…he’s willing to try just about anything to help someone.

It’s such a joy to work with him on learning a new skill…and then see him remember and use that skill! While he may not say much, he’s learned to go up and pat someone if he wants their attention. He can say “more”, “please”, and “thank you” in sign language. But it is even more sweet when I see him choose to make the right decision in his attitudes and obedience.

I’m so proud of my little boy!!
